Over the course of a season, your pond will accumulate debris and organics such as leaves, grass clippings, uneaten fish food, and fish waste. The filtration system should remove most of this debris, but the rest will break down into muck and sludge. Periodic cleanings and general maintenance are inevitable. To keep your pond in top condition throughout the year we recommend suctioning out the sediments on the pond floor before they can burden the water. The sludge vacuums of the PondoVac series are optimally suited for this task, and your pond will thank you with healthy, clear water.
