The most effective way to clear green water in ponds. UVinex UV Clarifiers install seamlessly into Savio Skimmers and require no special plumbing knowledge. Coated bulb technology does away with fragile glass sleeves and are virtually maintenance free - simply wipe clean with a damp cloth to restore effectiveness. 

If your UV Clarifier is appropriately sized, expect water clarity within 14 days. Note that string algae on the waterfall, in the pond, and on the sides won't be impacted by the UV light. This is typical for ponds, as the UV only targets single-celled algae that can pass through the unit. Keep in mind, your pond might retain a greenish tint unless you have at least 50% plant coverage or your pond is in partial shade.

Savio Basket: This Savio basket is designed as a replacement for the standard Savio skimmerfilter. Leaf baskets feature a rugged design and will help mechanically filter large surface debris. Installation and replacement takes just minutes.

SAVIO Springflo Bio Filter Media's performance is unmatched. Unlike copies, this patented ribbon encourages better adhesion and proliferation of bacteria using a special formulation of polypropylene and calcium carbonate. The textured surface is embossed with millions of dimples to rapidly secure and develop beneficial microorganisms. It does not clog and resists channeling and compaction in up-flow and horizontal-flow low pressure filter chambers. Negative buoyancy keeps it in place.

Simply shake it and drain the filter. Other media is prone to clogging, requiring rigorous cleaning, which disrupts healthy bacteria. SAVIO Springflo is very durable, lasting 3-5 years.

SAVIO Springflo Bio Filter Media provides enormous surface area while being light and compact. Shipping and storage is easier. Each roll contains 180 sq. ft. of surface area, suitable for up to 3 cu. ft. of filter volume.

Maintain optimal water level with a regulated flow of water. Self tapping valve connects to copper, plastic or iron water supply lines up to 1" in diameter. Kit (66002) includes 25' of 1/4" line.

Low cost solution fits inside your Savio Skimmerfilter. An inexpensive solution for controlling water level in a pond. This assembly connects to a 1/4" water line and easily fits into a full size Skimmerfilter UV chamber. Maintains pond at the ideal water level.

Designed just for the Savio FilterWeir. This accessory consists of two parts. The stone cover provides protection and camouflage for the top of the tank. The stone lip creates a pleasing, natural appearance for your waterfall. The realistic "stone" is crafted from a durable acrylic and fiberglass material that is lightweight and UV fade resistant. Savio Black Foam is a convenient black colored foam that bonds to most construction materials. This formulation is closed cell and won't age, harden or shrink. It is perfect for filling and sealing holes and voids for outside applications.

Bottom aeration plays an important role in creating a healthy pond with clean and clear water. This low pressure, high-volume process infuses pond water with oxygen while providing constant water movement to prevent the buildup of algae and muck, reduces mosquitos, and creates a healthy habitat for fish and plant life. It also helps break up thermocline that can develop over time in a static pond.

AERATION SYSTEM COMPONENTS

Air Compressor: The air compressor is the primary piece of the aeration system, it is the pump that produces the compressed air that is delivered to the bottom of the pond. Compressors should be housed in a compressor cabinet near a power source.

Weighted Tubing: Weighted tubing carries the air produced by the compressor down to the diffuser(s) at the bottom of the pond. The weight of the tubing keeps it at the bottom of the lake.

Diffuser(s): Depending on the size of the pond you can have one to multiple diffusers throughout the pond. Diffusers receive the air from the compressor and “diffuse” it into tiny bubbles that aerate the entire water column from the bottom to the surface. 

Air Compressor Enclosure (optional): Air compressor enclosures conceal and protect you air compressor. If air compressors get wet or too hot, they will quit working. Compressor cabinets not only protect your pump from the elements, they also contain an air manifold, cooling fan and connecting airlines.

The air compressor is the primary piece of an aeration system that delivers compressed air to the diffusers at the bottom of a pond. The air compressor is placed on shore. With additional tubing, it can be placed up to 300 feet away without having to increase air compressor size.
