Pond Armor Surface Prep - Etching Solution 1 Gal

A safer alternative to using muriatic acid, it is designed to clean calcium deposits out of the surface pores of concrete and other concrete types of substrates. It can also be used to clean a variety of other surfaces such as metals and painted surfaces (test on a small surface before committing to full use). This technology is formulated to dissolve carbonates which hold scale and other deposits together in mass. After the carbonates are cleaned and dissolved, the sulfates such as iron, calcium, (lime), magnesium and other insoluble materials fall from the surface when rinsed away.

It is a safe replacement for other types of acid such as muriatic, phosphoric, citric and others. It uses a low pH organic salt to replace traditional mineral and organic acids. It is safe on metals such as aluminum, copper, and stainless steel. It clings to vertical surfaces. It is bio-degradable and phosphate free and classified as a low-irritation to skin. The formula is low V.O.C. and complies to California Air Resource Board (C.A.R.B.) Cleaning Standards.
