Bakki Showers utilize a unique design where water is pumped to the top of the unit and dispersed over ceramic biological filter media (sold separately). As water flows through and around the media, it becomes infused with oxygen and undergoes biological filtration.
Moving Bed Filters provide extraordinary surface area for beneficial bacteria colonization, ensuring superior water quality for koi health. When combined with an RDF, they provide outstanding biological filtration to perfectly compliment the mechanical filtration from the RDF.
